What ExpatFlirt is
ExpatFlirt is a dating site for expats, international residents and the locals who want to meet them. It is built around one fact: the country a member lives in is not the country they are from. That gap shapes everything about how they meet people, and it is the reason this site exists separately from a general-purpose dating app.
Moving abroad rearranges the ordinary routes to meeting someone. The friends-of-friends network that quietly did the work in your twenties is in another timezone. Weekends run on different hours. And the question of where you're from stops being small talk and becomes the conversation that decides whether someone understands your life or is being polite about it.
Who it's for
Two groups, and neither is an afterthought.
The first is other people living abroad — members who already know what a residency appointment costs you in a morning, why you half-speak three languages badly, and what December looks like when going home means a flight. With them, you skip the explaining.
The second is locals who want to meet internationals: people who grew up where you now live, know which neighbourhood is worth a Saturday, and are curious about someone who arrived from elsewhere. With them, you get the city as it actually works.
Most members are past the stage of treating dating as a volume exercise. The tone of the site is deliberately unhurried, and nothing in the product is designed to make you move faster than you want to.
How we write
Everything on the public pages of this site is written by the editorial team at GO PERFORMANCE LABS SL. Where a page makes a claim about what the platform does — verification, moderation, what a membership tier includes — that claim comes from the platform operator's own product documentation, not from marketing copy. Where a page gives advice about safety or local law, it says where the advice comes from and what its limits are.
We don't publish member counts, “people online now” figures or invented testimonials. If a number isn't something we can stand behind, it isn't on the page.
Two companies, two different jobs
The company that owns this website is not the company that operates the dating service. This matters when something goes wrong, because it determines who can actually help.

One practical consequence worth knowing in advance: because Hubpeople Limited processes the payments, a charge on your bank or card statement may appear under a Hubpeople reference or one of its payment processors rather than under ExpatFlirt.
