What You Get Without Paying
Classic is the free tier. It is not a trial and it does not expire.
On a free account you can build a full profile, browse members, receive daily match suggestions, post updates and photos, comment on articles and posts, take part in polls and quizzes, and send a limited number of messages each day. Free ID verification and admin profile validation are included, and so are the activity badges.
The part people miss: you can always read and reply to messages from VIP and VIP Plus members. A paying member can start a conversation with you and you can answer it without paying anything. That means a free account is not a dead end — it is a working account with a daily cap on who you can approach first.

Which Plans Renew and Which Do Not
This is the part worth reading before you choose, because it is not the same across the plans.
- The 1-week, 1-month, 3-month and 6-month plans renew automatically at the end of each term, at the same price, until you stop them.
- The 12-month plans do not renew. On both VIP and VIP Plus, the annual plan runs for its twelve months and then stops. If you want to carry on, you buy again.
If you want the lowest weekly cost without a recurring charge sitting on your card, the annual plan is the one that does both. If you want to try a tier for a month and stop, set a reminder — a monthly plan will renew unless you cancel it.

You Do Not Have to Pay in Euros
The prices above are the euro ones. Memberships are also sold in Argentine peso, Australian dollar, Brazilian real, Canadian dollar, Chilean peso, Colombian peso, Costa Rican colón, Indian rupee, Mexican peso, New Zealand dollar, Peruvian sol, pound sterling, South African rand, Uruguayan peso and US dollar.
Which one you see depends on where you are, and the figure in another currency is a local price rather than a conversion of the euro one — so do not assume it converts exactly. Whatever it is, you see it before you pay.
This matters more than usual here, because people who move country mid-subscription are exactly who this site is for. If a charge appears in a currency you did not expect, contact the right team rather than guessing.

Free members can join a group chat a VIP member creates, so the group feature is not closed to you — you just cannot start one.
Which One Is Actually Worth It
An honest version, since nobody else will give you one on a pricing page.
Stay free if you have just arrived and do not yet know whether there are enough people near you. The daily message cap is the only real limit, and a paying member can still reach you. Check the community where you live through expat dating by country and city before you spend anything.
Take VIP if you keep hitting the message limit, or if you would rather filter by city and distance than work through daily suggestions. This is the common case for people in a large international city.
Take VIP Plus if your profile is good, you are writing to people, and you are not getting replies. The extra tier buys visibility, not more messages — it will not fix a thin profile, and we would rather say so than sell it to you.
On plan length: the weekly cost falls steeply with the longer plans, so if you already know the platform works for you, a longer plan is markedly cheaper. If you do not know yet, take the shortest one and find out.
